Strength & Power for Teens
|
Strength & Power for Teens is an 8-week program designed to give our younger members the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to be an active member of the YMCA. The course will cover all of the major components of fitness, such as cardiovascular endurance and flexibility; however, the main focus is on strength training, with a major emphasis on proper technique and safety. Using a variety of means, participants will learn how to build strong, powerful, and healthy bodies and be able to confidently make fitness a fun and lasting part of their lives. After completing the class, teens 12-14 may use the Wellness Center.
Session VII: Thursdays, 4:00-5:30pm, October 23 - December 18 Registration Deadline: October 20
Members: $72 Nonmembers: $90 *$10 late fee for registrations received after the deadline.
