Lifeguards
Summer lifeguards are needed at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA and the South Sioux City Outdoor Pool.
Personal Trainers
Are you a certified personal trainer wanting to work in a new state-of-the-art YMCA? We are currently taking applications for personal trainers (certified by ACSM, ACE, AFFA, NETA, or NSCA) to train at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA. Build your clientele around your hours of availability.
Day Camp Counselors
Do you want to spend your summer in the great outdoors working with kids? Join our YMCA Day Camp team of counselors. Along with the Day Camp Director, you will develop, plan, organize, lead and instruct programming. Activities include arts and crafts, canoeing, archery, swimming, sports, science and more! You will work with a variety of age groups from Kindergarten through high school. Must have enthusiasm with children, the desire to develop and practice good programming and group leading skills, and the ability to model wholesome, Christian behavior. Must be high school graduate and able to be First Aid and CPR certified (certifications offered on-site). (Temporary Full-Time)
Day Camp Surround Care Staff
Day Camp Surround Care Staff will lead activities at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA during the hours before and after Day Camp. Staff will be involved in the development and implementation of activities such as arts/crafts, gym activities and games. Part-time hours are 7:30am-9:30am and 4:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Must be high school graduate to apply and able to be First Aid and CPR certified (certifications offered on-site).
