Land Fitness Schedule

Due to repairs to the main fitness studio floor, the summer fitness class schedule has been revised. Please make note of the class locations.

Strength & Power for Teens
|
Strength & Power for Teens is an 8-week program designed to give our younger members the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to be an active member of the YMCA. The course will cover all of the major components of fitness, such as cardiovascular endurance and flexibility; however, the main focus is on strength training, with a major emphasis on proper technique and safety. Using a variety of means, participants will learn how to build strong, powerful, and healthy bodies and be able to confidently make fitness a fun and lasting part of their lives. After completing the class, teens 12-14 may use the Wellness Center.

Members: $72 Nonmembers: $90 *$10 late fee for registrations received after the deadline.

Home School Gym & Swim

Home school children ages 5-13 yrs can enjoy supervised gym and swim activities taught by the YMCA staff. Gym activities are PE based with activities such as basketball, soccer, circuit training, relay races, and many other fun games. Swim time includes instruction on swim techniques as well as water sports and games. At the end of each session, parents will be provided a report on their childs progress. The program runs in 8-week sessions.
